Fahuz Support for Vulnerable Groups (FAHUZ-SVG) is a community-based, non-profit organization established in 2007 to support vulnerable populations through integrated health, social protection, and livelihood interventions. FAHUZ-SVG is fully registered with: • Katsina State Ministry of Social Development, Youth and Sports • Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria. The organization operates across all 34 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Katsina State, with over 1,000 registered members and beneficiaries, including people affected by Tuberculosis (TB), Drug-Resistant TB (DRTB), HIV, Malaria, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), women, children, and the elderly.
We aim to Provide linkages to health, legal, psychosocial, and social services for vulnerable populations, including survivors of Gender-Based Violence (physical, psychological, and sexual violence). and Support vulnerable households with nutritional assistance, including food and vitamin supplementation. as well as Enhance economic resilience through vocational training and income-generating activities (IGA).
To reduce disease burden, improve treatment outcomes, address stigma, and strengthen community systems for sustainable health impact.

FAHUZ-SVG is governed by a Board of Trustees and managed by a Coordinator, supported by nine (9) experienced staff members with backgrounds in: • Community TB care • HIV service delivery • GBV programming • Social mobilization • Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
